On average a regular day at In'n Out is as fast as it looks, while yes the work can be strenuous at times, more often then not the work is simple tasks which just requires a lot more speed and accuracy then your average job.

As i began Working there everything was great i got along with people but as you being to level up everyone started to be indifferent towards you. Depending on if you passed them in levels or if you just somehow crossed them. The other Associates make the place what it is the the management makes you hate the place. In my own personal time there they have made me feel small in insignificant I used to love going in everyday learning new things feeling like i had a purpose there but then one day they just stopped training me i was a level 4 felling like a level 1 feeling people say i should be tankful for the fact that all i do is take orders but i am someone who loves to learn and they took that from me they put me into to a state of depression that i hadn't been in for a couple of years everyday i thought about quitting or worse but the only thing that has kept me strong are the bonds that i have made and the pretty decent pay but everyone would tell you that.

Best company i ever worked for and continue to work for. I get the houts i need and they work with me on my schedule, if i need certain days off or if i cant work due to family issues. IN N OUT IS FAMILY

Most of the time, it was a very collaborative and positive team atmosphere. The managers very much stick up for you, are concerned for you, and prioritize their employees' wellbeing over customer demands.
Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.
My store got a new manager who made employees work in ways that irritated their injuries. The standards for both appearance and behaviour went down significantly.
But most importantly, for all In N Out stores:
- You will be subjected to christian propaganda every month.
- You will be required to do certain tasks and avoid others based on your gender.
Your appearance standards will be different based on your gender.

Great high school to college job. Flexible hours for those part time. Management is low recognition and non set schedule. Possible to work 10 days in a row and have low hours or sleep between certain shifts.
Store Associate (Former Employee) - Dallas, TX - October 30, 2019
Fast paced job, never really bored while you were there, shorter shifts or longer shifts depending on your preference. Want people 18+so they can work the trash compactor and work until closing. Paid well and great atmosphere. Some days were tougher than others depending on how busy the store was.

I loved working for In N Out. working for the company i learned a-lot and got to meet a-lot of great people. on any typical day in n out is fast passed and excellence, and teamwork are critical, management does a great job making sure shifts run smoothly and associates preform quality task to ensure the store continues to run efficiently.
Associate / Cashier (Current Employee) - Orange, CA - October 28, 2019
In-N-Out is a productive and fun place to work at, as well as flexible with their hours. Working at In N Out is sometimes a very high stress level because of high volume sales patterns, however this type of work builds character and gives you strengths in multi tasking and team work.
Associate (Former Employee) - Cabazon, CA - October 28, 2019
Management only promotes who they believe are "friends" and any and all complaints or suggestions are not listened to seriously.. my location has no health inspector since on native land. Seemed to only look for the quid pro quo workers..
ASSOCIATE (Former Employee) - Corona, CA - October 25, 2019
At In-N-Out you really learn about the culture of the customer. Everything we do is centered around them. We live by our mission statement and a part that I really like says "the customer is our most important asset."
Maintenance Leader (Former Employee) - Casa Grande, AZ - October 21, 2019
I had worked at In-N-Out for 5 years. I learned that they are very focused on micro managing everything and everyone became cut throat as a result. The culture does not breed motivation and moving forward. Its very much a know your place type of environment.
This was my first job and I loved it. Employers love to see In-N-Out on a resume because they produce amazing employees. You learn a lot of valuable customer service skills. Room for growth if you put in the time and effort.
Level 6 Associate (Former Employee) - Daly City, CA - October 17, 2019
Teaches work ethics. Opportunities to advance. workplace environment was positive even though in in fast pace situations. one on one training and meeting to discuss improvements. Really good work incentives
