Applied for the Claims Adjuster Trainee position. If you meet their requirements for the position, they will reply back pretty quickly (within a day or two) with an assessment full of arithmetic and junk psychology for you to undergo. If you're successful with that, then you schedule a date for either a phone or video screening/interview with a "hiring specialist" that'll take place within the next few days.

If you're not lucky, you end up with some HR bimbo who not only shows up late for the screening, but doesn't even seem to know your name or have even read your resume at the very least, then proceeds to ask you a bunch of canned questions that are pretty easy to answer if you're prepared while not giving you any idea of where you'll work and who you'll work with. If you can successfully pass that round, said HR bimbo will move you forward in the process to "meet with a hiring manager", and that you'll hear from them within the next few days. Only to hear that you've been rejected. This despite the position being a "trainee" program where you supposedly undergo an 8-week training course to be brought up to speed. Allegedly.

Don't waste your time. It says a lot about a company when this position and others are posted everywhere, in every location, and remain unfilled for months, even years.

They don’t stand behind military spouses like other jobs I’ve had. Told me they don’t consider my husband as military because he is not out of the country. They try to make you choose between your family and job. They expect you to sign in computer on time and if not your in trouble and I have seen other threatened to be fired for it but you can’t sign out of the computer tell you exact time off. So if you get off at 6 and get off call at 5:59 you are expected to take another call and stay late. Could be a minute call or an hour. You can have perfect calls and you still get talked to and coached because you didn’t say something exactly like they wanted you to. So many people are on FMLA for anxiety, depression, and migraines it’s crazy. It’s really crazy when you mention Geico to your doctor or child’s doctor and they tell you their sorry and already know the hoops you will need to jump through. Even had one doctor tell me the turned Geico in for abusing FMLA by making employees get it just to have time off.

Also they give you the option if you are not ready to take the test to postpone it and take it another day. They literally say if you feel that you cannot perform to the best of your ability then let us know now and we can reschedule but if you do not let them know now you would have to wait another 6 months to apply if you fail the test that day.
