There are way to many things. Currently there is an MT (manager trainee) at my store who does the equivalent of nothing and is EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful to the associated and shift managers. She puts blame on everyone else but herself, and sits in the office for hours at a time. A shift manager wrote inappropriate names on the schedule board and when brought to her attention, she laughed and said it was a joke when clearly people were upset by this, myself included. The DM (district manager) doesnt come frequently enough and doesnt ever do sit downs with associates to check in. The lack of consistency in this store, and the company, is OUTSTANDING. everything falls under that umbrella. I understand that associates are the bottom of the totem pole at this company, but if we all left.. guess what will fall? So taking the associates opinions and ideas seriously would be the first place to start. We see everything and are on the front lines.

Room for growth here is ridiculous. They promote unprepared people before others who know more about the store and who have been there longer.

The pay isnt worth it.

I applied online, got an invite to a group interview a few days later, I was the 1st person at the group interview out of about 40 people. The district and regional managers were there went over a few basic questions and told me that was all and the would email me if interested. I went home and not even 1 hour later the district manager called me from his personal phone and asked if i could go back for a second interview. I went back as soon as I got the call and interviews with the district and regional manager and after the interview I picked up a few groceries and as I was leaving the register the district manager chased me down as I was leaving and offered me a position on the spot. He said he didn't want me leaving without good news. Needless to say I started a week later.
